Algorithms for Sensor Systems: 10th International Symposium on Algorithms and Experiments for Sensor Systems, Wireless Networks and Distributed Robotics, ALGOSENSORS 2014, Wroclaw, Poland, September 12, 2014, Revised Selected Papers
This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 10th International Symposium on Algorithms and Experiments for Sensor Systems, Wireless Networks and Distributed Robotics, ALGOSENSORS 2014, held in Wroclaw, Poland, in September 2014.
The symposium is an international forum dedicated to the algorithmic aspects of wireless networks, both static and mobile. Originally focused solely on sensor networks, ALGOSENSORS now covers a broader range of algorithmic issues arising in all wireless networks of computational entities, including sensor networks, sensor-actuator networks, and systems of autonomous mobile robots.
The book focuses on the design and analysis of discrete and distributed algorithms, models of computation and complexity, experimental analysis, and all foundational and algorithmic aspects of research in wireless networks, sensor networks, and robotic networks.
Papers were solicited into three tracks: Sensor Network Algorithms (Track A), Wireless Networks and Distributed Robotics (Track B), and Experimental Algorithms (Track C). From 20 submissions, 10 papers were accepted after a rigorous reviewing process involving at least three reviewers per paper.
This collection is part of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series, volume 8847, and is intended for researchers, graduate students, and practitioners working on algorithmic problems in sensor systems, wireless networks, and distributed robotics.
